Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, August 2026 — Diaceutics PLC has expanded the leadership mandate of Sandra Blake, appointing her Chief Marketing & People Officer. The expanded role brings together the company’s growth marketing, brand, operating model, and people strategy behind its ambition of accelerating its vision of “Precision for All.”
Blake has been with Diaceutics since September 2024, initially joining as Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Committee, with responsibility for the People and IT functions. She stepped into the expanded Chief Marketing & People Officer role in January 2026, broadening her remit to connect people and organizational strategy with marketing, brand, and growth priorities.
Before joining Diaceutics, Blake served as Group Head of Talent at Zühlke Group, where she led talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement as part of the Group People and Culture Leadership Team. Previously, she spent four years with Howden, holding several global HR and talent leadership positions, including Global HR Director – Talent, People Strategy and Organisation Effectiveness, Global HR/Talent Director, and Interim Global CHRO. She also led people integration activities associated with Howden and Chart, alongside her broader global HR responsibilities.
Earlier, Blake served as HR Director/Head of Colleague Capability at Tesco Bank and Head of Talent and Leadership Development at SSE plc, where she led talent and leadership development strategy across an organization of approximately 20,000 employees. She also spent more than nine years with RBS, moving from senior marketing leadership into HR and holding roles spanning brand strategy, marketing, leadership development, talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and culture. Her earlier career included marketing and brand management roles with Mondelēz International and Cadbury plc.
Across her career, Blake has developed a distinctive combination of marketing, brand, talent, organizational effectiveness, culture, leadership development, and people strategy expertise. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Marketing Edinburgh Ltd. Her expanded mandate at Diaceutics brings these disciplines together as the company aligns its brand, growth, operating model, and people strategy to advance its precision medicine ambitions.
