Newark, New Jersey, United States, April 2026 — Saafir Jenkins has joined CoreWeave to lead Global People Operations. His appointment brings an experienced people operations and HR transformation leader to the company at a time when scale, operational agility, and workforce architecture are becoming increasingly important in high-growth technology environments.
Before joining CoreWeave, Saafir Jenkins was Founder & Fractional CHRO at Optimum Human Centered Solutions, where he provided strategic HR advisory and interim executive leadership to mid-market healthcare and high-growth organizations. In that role, he partnered with boards and CEOs to build people functions designed for scale, advised on M&A due diligence and cultural synchronization, developed performance-to-value incentive structures, and helped de-bureaucratize HR operations through AI-driven process engineering and predictive workforce analytics.
Prior to that, he served as Head of People Operations (VP & CHRO) at JAG Physical Therapy, where he was the top HR executive and principal architect of the people infrastructure across a large multi-state clinical network. During his tenure, he partnered closely with the CEO and Board, built a scalable post-merger integration playbook, linked clinical bonuses to EBITDA targets, directed HR technology transformation, and helped drive stronger retention and operational efficiency through predictive analytics and workforce strategy.
Earlier, Saafir Jenkins worked at Zelis as Senior Director, Global People Operations & Technology, where he led major enterprise integration and workforce strategy initiatives. His work included integrating multiple entities into a unified people ecosystem, improving operational efficiency through Workday HCM and Financials conversion, building AI-driven dashboards for talent analytics and flight-risk forecasting, and operationalizing workforce strategy for market entry into India.
Before that, he served as Head of HR Shared Services at LG Electronics, where he established a centralized shared services model for North America and led large-scale HR systems transformation across recruitment, payroll, total rewards, and enterprise people platforms. He also worked as Senior Manager, HR Operations and Technology at Inditex, where he helped integrate payroll and compensation systems to deliver significant administrative savings.
Earlier in his career, he was Senior Manager, Client Services Division at BDB Payroll Service, where he significantly improved client satisfaction. Across his professional journey, Saafir Jenkins has built a strong reputation in people operations, HR technology, organizational scale, post-merger integration, executive advisory, and workforce intelligence.
His move to CoreWeave reflects the growing importance of strong people operations leadership in organizations scaling rapidly in advanced technology and AI-driven sectors.
