Auckland, New Zealand, April 2026 – EROAD has announced the appointment of Emma Murphy as Chief People Officer, further strengthening its global leadership team as the company continues to scale its SaaS-driven transportation technology platform.
In her new role, Emma will lead the global people strategy across key geographies, focusing on aligning people, leadership, and culture with business outcomes. She will partner closely with the executive team to enhance leadership maturity, strengthen accountability, and drive organizational effectiveness across the enterprise.
With a strong track record in HR transformation and people strategy, Emma brings deep expertise in building high-performing, future-focused organizations. Her leadership will play a critical role in shaping EROAD’s talent, culture, and capability agenda as the company advances its innovation-led growth.
At EROAD, Emma Murphy steps into a global leadership role, overseeing the full spectrum of people strategy including talent management, leadership development, reward, health & safety, and organizational development to create a high-performance culture.
Prior to this, she founded OGI – Optimise Growth Impact, where she advised organizations on aligning people, processes, and technology to drive sustainable transformation and employee experience in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
She also served as Head of People and Culture at Duncan Cotterill, where she led strategic HR initiatives focused on performance, capability, and organizational development, supporting business growth and building a future-ready workforce.
Earlier, Emma held leadership roles at PwC New Zealand as Director of Talent and at Auckland Council, where she led capability, leadership, diversity, and talent initiatives across large, complex organizations. She also built global talent strategies at Orion Health and Alcatel-Lucent, establishing a strong foundation in international HR leadership and transformation.
Her career reflects over two decades of experience in HR strategy, talent transformation, and organizational effectiveness, making her well-positioned to drive EROAD’s next phase of growth.
