British Columbia, Canada, April 2025 – Dora Taba has been appointed as Head of HR & Talent at Specsavers, where she will lead the company’s human resources, talent management, and employee experience strategy across Canada.
In her new role, Dora will oversee talent development, talent attraction and acquisition, leadership programs, and organizational culture initiatives for Specsavers Canada’s Support Office. She brings with her a decade of impactful HR leadership spanning multiple global markets and industries.
Prior to this, Dora served as Senior HR Business Partner at Specsavers, where she helped shape people practices focused on employee experience and strategic growth. Her deep understanding of the Specsavers culture and her hands-on leadership style made her a natural choice for this elevated role.
Previously, Dora held the position of People & Culture Director at Fresh Prep, where she led transformative HR initiatives during a period of rapid growth. Earlier in her career, she spent over three years at MEC in progressive roles, including Organizational Development Manager and HR Manager, where she built strong L&D and change management frameworks.
Dora also brings multinational experience from her time at Tesco PLC, where she held regional HR and project leadership roles across Central Europe, including as People Programme Change Manager and Project Manager driving HR transformation and operational excellence.
