Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2025 – Archana Arun Krishnamurthy has been appointed as Director, Global Talent Development at Akamai Technologies, building upon a remarkable journey of over six years with the company and more than 25 years in the learning and development (L&D) domain. In her new role, Archana will drive global talent development strategies, including the integration of AI-powered learning systems to enhance Akamai’s employee experience and learning ecosystem.
Archana has been an integral part of Akamai’s transformation in the L&D space, leading the Shared Learning Services function and spearheading initiatives in AI and Generative AI adoption. Her focus on creating learning experiences that foster curiosity, reflection, and growth has shaped Akamai’s talent landscape in meaningful ways.
Before joining Akamai, Archana held prominent roles at Cisco, where she managed global training systems, and at Sterling Commerce (an AT&T company), where she led instructional design teams. Earlier in her career, she contributed to eLearning innovations at Mentorware, designing content for clients such as Lenovo, Cisco, and Sun Microsystems. Across her career, she has led teams, managed strategic learning projects, and shaped global learning cultures, demonstrating a deep passion for human-centered development.
