Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, April 2025 – Jennifer Mulligan has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at VDI Australia, a leading distributor of Yutong buses in Australia. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving strategic HR transformation, advancing workplace safety initiatives, and strengthening talent and organizational capabilities across VDI’s nationwide operations.
Jennifer most recently served as Human Resource and Safety Manager at Accoras, where she led integrated HR and safety programs in a hybrid environment. Her work focused on creating a safe and supportive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across business units.
Prior to Accoras, she was Executive Manager – Talent Acquisition at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, where she oversaw recruitment, safety, and employee reward strategies, contributing to workforce resilience in a critical public safety sector.
Jennifer also spent over four years at Altara Group as HR Operations Manager, where she specialized in payroll, policy implementation, and workplace health and safety. Her HR leadership supported scalable operations across the business and delivered improvements in employee engagement and systems administration.
Earlier in her career, she spent nearly 10 years at Emirates Airline as Cabin Crew Manager, where she was responsible for performance management of over 700 crew members. Her multifaceted role included recruitment, training design, employee relations, and project management—laying a strong foundation in global HR practices and operational leadership.
