Minnesota, United States, June 2025 – Leah Schneider has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources, US at Bora Pharmaceuticals, where she will lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with Bora’s business goals and organizational culture. Leah’s mandate includes providing leadership and direction for HR operations to support business expansion and workforce requirements across the US, adapting global HR practices to local environments, and ensuring that HR policies comply with all relevant laws and ethical standards. She will also focus on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, compensation, and the development of future leaders within the company.
Prior to joining Bora Pharmaceuticals, Leah spent 28 years at Upsher-Smith, where she held a range of leadership roles including Senior Director, Human Resources. She crafted and implemented HR strategies aligned with business objectives, oversaw talent management, succession planning, DE&I, organizational and performance management, compensation, and training. As a member of the executive leadership team, Leah also led corporate communications and change management efforts during periods of transformation, acquisition, and restructuring.
Leah also served as Human Resources Director and Associate Director at Upsher-Smith, developing and executing strategies in talent acquisition, culture management, DE&I, and organizational effectiveness. She provided strategic business partnership and HR consulting to business functions, driving initiatives that supported company goals and enhanced employee experience.
Earlier in her career at Upsher-Smith, Leah was Human Resources Manager and Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where she established HR processes, provided guidance in employee relations, drove talent development, and led corporate affirmative action efforts. Throughout her tenure, Leah was recognized for her strategic leadership and contributions to business transformation and employee engagement.
