Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2025 — Geetu George has been appointed as Director – Strategic Growth Initiatives at Ultraviolette Automotive, a company redefining sustainable urban mobility with cutting-edge innovation and engineering. In her new role, Geetu will lead key programs focused on long-term growth, strategic partnerships, and market acceleration initiatives.
Prior to joining Ultraviolette, Geetu served as Partner Lead at the World Economic Forum, where she played a pivotal role in fostering collaborations between global industry leaders and the South Asian business community. Her work centered on catalyzing public-private partnerships to address climate change, decarbonization, and future mobility—underscored by her contributions to key reports on Scope 3 emissions and green hydrogen adoption in India.
Before her tenure at the Forum, Geetu spent over a decade at Shell, holding several leadership positions across marketing, business development, and strategy. As Country Head – Fleet Solutions, she was instrumental in scaling a start-up unit aligned with Shell’s energy transition goals. Her earlier roles at Shell included launching differentiated fuel campaigns, executing India market entry strategies, and leading agile product rollouts.
Geetu’s foundational years were marked by analytics and consulting roles at WNS Global Services, Ecologix Knowledge Solutions, and a banking internship with ABN AMRO, giving her a broad-based perspective across sectors and regions.
Her appointment reflects Ultraviolette Automotive’s ambition to drive disruptive innovation, elevate growth frameworks, and amplify its presence in emerging global markets.
