Shoreham-by-Sea, England, United Kingdom, October 2024 – Emma Forsdike has started her new role as Head of People Business Partnering & Advisory at Focus Group. In this capacity, she will oversee the People Business Partnering team and provide strategic advisory to the HR department, helping to align people initiatives with business growth and objectives.
Before taking on this new role, Emma worked as a People Business Partner at Focus Group for almost a year. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in supporting the company’s HR functions, including employee engagement, recruitment, and development, contributing to the firm’s people strategy.
Prior to this, she spent over two years as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at OneWeb, where she supported strategic HR operations. Emma’s leadership in change management and organizational development contributed to a significant increase in employee satisfaction and retention.
Emma took a career break for seven years to focus on her family, working as a Stay-at-Home Parent. Her return to HR demonstrates her adaptability and commitment to bringing new perspectives into her professional role.
Before her career break, Emma held a contract position as an HR Business Partner at Colgate-Palmolive, where she supported various functions like marketing and finance, delivering strategic HR solutions.
Earlier in her career, Emma served as an HR Business Partner at BSI, where she drove cultural change and talent management strategies for multiple business units. She partnered with senior leadership to embed HR initiatives that supported organizational growth and development.
