Atlanta, Georgia, United States, June 2025 – Shepherd Center has announced the appointment of Katy Conway as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In her new leadership role, Katy will oversee all facets of HR strategy, talent management, and organizational culture as Shepherd Center advances its mission as one of the nation’s top rehabilitation hospitals.
Prior to joining Shepherd Center, Katy Conway was the Chief People Officer at RGP, where she led a global people strategy for a workforce of over 3,400 professionals across 1,800+ clients. At RGP, Katy spearheaded significant transformation efforts, including the implementation of a refreshed compensation philosophy, expansion of DEI initiatives, and launch of a hub-and-spoke HR structure to deliver effective talent strategies worldwide. She played a key role in the company’s digital transformation, organizational redesign, and brand evolution into a multi-segment parent company.
Earlier at RGP, Katy served as Senior Vice President, Talent, where she managed a team of over 100 professionals during a major shift from a decentralized to a centralized talent function. This transformation enabled profitable growth and streamlined talent operations across North America. As Regional Director of Recruiting and Sr. Director of Employee Relations at RGP, she developed robust talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development programs that became benchmarks within the organization.
Before her tenure at RGP, Katy held HR management positions at Novelis, focusing on employee mobility and global operating model transitions, and at Deloitte, where she designed internal communications strategies and led talent acquisition for key consulting divisions. Early in her career, Katy gained valuable HR experience with roles at RampOne, Inc. and Georgia-Pacific LLC.
Throughout her career, Katy has distinguished herself as a business transformation leader with expertise in HR strategy, organizational design, total rewards, DEI, learning and development, and employer branding.
