Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, United States, July 2026 — BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has announced the appointment of Vivek Bhat as Global Supply Excellence Director, Supply Chain Excellence & Strategy. A seasoned global supply chain leader with extensive experience in supply chain transformation, digital planning, product strategy, analytics, and operational excellence, Vivek joins BD to lead strategic initiatives that will further strengthen the company’s global supply chain capabilities and accelerate its supply excellence agenda.
Before joining BD, Vivek spent nine years at Reckitt, where he held several global leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as Global COE & Deployment Director – End-to-End Supply Planning, leading end-to-end supply planning Centers of Excellence across three global hubs while managing cross-functional teams responsible for process ownership, product management, master data, deployment, analytics, and enterprise-wide Kinaxis implementation. He also led organizational transformation initiatives, supported Integrated Business Planning (IBP) deployment, enterprise scheduling implementation, and drove the adoption of advanced digital planning capabilities across Reckitt’s global manufacturing network.
Earlier at Reckitt, Vivek served as Global Process & Technology Director – End-to-End Supply Planning & Analytics, where he strengthened global planning capabilities through process standardization, technology enablement, product roadmap development, and stakeholder alignment. Prior to that, as Global Product Lead – End-to-End Planning & Analytics COE, he played a pivotal role in designing and deploying one of the company’s largest digital supply planning transformation programs, covering more than 50 manufacturing facilities, 80 markets, and over 100 external manufacturing partners. He also established global Centers of Excellence for supply planning and analytics while leading the adoption of Kinaxis RapidResponse and pioneering enterprise scheduling capabilities.
Earlier in his career at Reckitt, Vivek served as Product Owner – End-to-End Supply Planning & Analytics, where he acted as the strategic bridge between business and technology teams, leading global process design, digital transformation, supply planning implementation, analytics modernization, and large-scale technology selection initiatives. Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in supply chain strategy, integrated business planning, digital transformation, AI-enabled supply planning, analytics, agile product management, enterprise deployment, and operational excellence.
