New York, New York, United States, May 2026 — Brian Saluzzo has joined Citi as Chief Information Officer, bringing more than three decades of technology, infrastructure, engineering, and enterprise leadership experience across global financial services and technology organizations.
Before joining Citi, Brian served at Google, where he held senior leadership roles including Vice President – Core Developer Engineering & Product Management and Vice President, Core Developer – First Party Engineering & Product Management. His work focused on engineering leadership, product management, developer platforms, and technology execution at scale.
Earlier, Brian spent nearly nine years with American Express, where he served in senior technology leadership roles including Technology Chief Operating Officer & EVP, Unit CIO – Merchant and Network Services, and Global Head of Technology Infrastructure, Digital Workplace, and IT Vendor Management. His responsibilities covered enterprise technology infrastructure, workplace technology, vendor management, and business-aligned technology transformation.
Prior to American Express, Brian had a long and distinguished tenure of nearly 20 years at Goldman Sachs, where he progressed from Analyst – Enterprise Technology to Vice President – Enterprise Technology and later Managing Director – Co-Head of Technology Infrastructure. He began his professional journey at AT&T, building a strong foundation in enterprise technology and infrastructure operations.
