Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Piramal Pharma Ltd – Consumer Products Division has appointed Vishal Bhargava as its Chief Information Officer, bringing with him over 24 years of expertise in IT strategy, digital transformation, business analysis, ERP, CRM, AI, and Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives. In his new role, Bhargava will lead large-scale technology transformation projects, focusing on SAP HANA migration, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementation, and Salesforce CRM adoption to enhance operational agility, data accuracy, and customer engagement.
Prior to joining Piramal Pharma Ltd, Bhargava served as Group Chief Information Officer at Astarc Group, where he spearheaded SAP migration to HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O rollout, Salesforce CRM deployment, and advanced Industry 4.0 initiatives. His work included integrating IoT-based predictive maintenance systems, implementing AI-driven threat detection in cybersecurity, and driving low-code/no-code application adoption to reduce IT backlog and improve business responsiveness.
Previously, as Head of Technology at Pidilite Industries Limited, Bhargava oversaw comprehensive digital transformation initiatives across quality, process, supply chain, and manufacturing, integrating IoT into production processes and enhancing business intelligence systems for real-time operational insights.
Earlier in his career, Bhargava held senior technology and consulting roles at L&T Infotech, Computer Sciences Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, Sterlite Technologies Ltd, and Videocon Appliances Limited, where he developed deep expertise in manufacturing execution systems, smart manufacturing, supply chain visibility, predictive maintenance, and global digital roadmaps.
