Cornelia steps into this role with a strong reputation as a strategic people and culture leader, known for driving transformation in complex, global environments. Most recently, Cornelia has been working as an Executive People & Culture Leader, supporting organizations through transformation journeys, shaping talent strategies, and partnering closely with CEOs and leadership teams to build scalable, high-performance organizations.
Prior to this, she served as Chief Culture Officer at Bahlsen Group, where she was a member of the Executive Board and led a comprehensive transformation agenda across HR, IT & Digital, Communications, and Compliance. She played a key role in driving a company-wide cultural transformation for over 2,500 employees across multiple countries, while also contributing to the company’s long-term strategy and advancing digital and AI-led initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Cornelia spent over 15 years with IKEA, holding several senior leadership roles including CHRO Sweden and CHRO Denmark. In these roles, she led large-scale people strategies for thousands of employees, drove organizational transformation, digitalisation, and diversity initiatives, and partnered closely with executive leadership to align people strategy with business outcomes.
Her experience also includes leading global HR transformation programs, building future-ready workforce capabilities, and driving large-scale change management initiatives across international markets, making her well-equipped to lead Lindab’s people agenda.
With deep expertise in culture transformation, leadership development, digital HR, and organizational design, Cornelia Kaufmann is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Lindab Group’s people strategy and performance culture.
