Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Mangalam Ganesh has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at HDFC securities. A dynamic technology leader with over twenty-five years of experience, she brings proven expertise in digital transformation, technology strategy, and platform innovation. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving large-scale technology initiatives, enhancing customer experiences, and delivering resilient, scalable solutions to strengthen the company’s digital edge.
Prior to this appointment, Mangalam Ganesh was CTO at Axis Direct, where she led major digital initiatives and reinforced the company’s technology backbone. Her tenure was marked by strategic enhancements that improved platform resilience, scalability, and customer engagement, positioning Axis Direct for future-ready growth.
Previously, she spent more than a decade at ICICIDirect, holding senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President – Technology and Vice President – Technology. She was instrumental in building digital customer acquisition journeys, improving application-level scalability, implementing disaster recovery frameworks, and embedding Agile and DevOps practices across technology teams. She also oversaw critical modules across equities, mutual funds, and bonds, while leading the design and delivery of website and mobile platforms.
Earlier in her career, she spent over ten years at 3i Infotech Ltd., where she rose to the position of Assistant General Manager – Technology after serving as Chief Manager – Technology. In these roles, she managed technology deliveries for ICICIDirect, established quality-focused processes, and mentored teams to achieve high-performance outcomes.
She began her professional career at LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, working as a Senior Software Executive across multiple projects and technology domains, gaining strong exposure to large-scale enterprise solutions.
