Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 — Sriramagiri Vijayakumar has been elevated to India Business Managing Director – Ingersoll Rand Power Tools & Lifting, taking charge of India’s P&L and spearheading business growth for the company’s industrial power tools and lifting solutions segment. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades across automotive and industrial segments, Vijayakumar brings strong commercial leadership, go-to-market expertise, and a consistent record of scaling businesses in complex markets.
Vijayakumar joined Ingersoll Rand in 2018 and has since held multiple leadership roles across product marketing, territory management, and business direction. Most recently, he served as Director – Power Tools & ILE Business, where he led key growth initiatives and drove strategic transformation across India. Prior to that, he served as Territory Leader – Power Tools India, managing channel expansion and customer engagement across the country.
Earlier in his career, Vijayakumar worked with Eaton, where he led diverse portfolios across distribution sales, OEM business, and corporate marketing for nearly a decade. His stints at TATA AutoComp Systems, Castrol, and MPL Parts and Services have further enriched his understanding of industrial and mobility solutions.
His new appointment signals Ingersoll Rand’s focus on local market leadership, innovation, and performance-centric execution in one of its fastest-growing regions. Vijayakumar’s extensive background in customer strategy, P&L ownership, and business transformation positions him well to lead the India growth mandate with purpose and impact.
