Gurugram, Haryana, India, May 2026 — Aravind Suseelan Nair has started a new position as Sr Director and Team Manager, HR Practice, BTI at Gartner. In this expanded leadership role, he will continue contributing to Gartner’s HR practice and business transformation insights while leading teams focused on delivering strategic guidance to organizations globally.
Aravind has been associated with Gartner for nearly two years. Prior to this role, he served as Sr Director and Research Leader, HR Practice, BTI, where he worked on leadership, organizational transformation, and HR-focused research initiatives.
Before joining Gartner, Aravind served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Milkbasket, where he led the HR function for more than 800 on-roll and 8,000+ off-roll employees. During his tenure, he played a key role in enabling a fourfold increase in business revenue and supported the company’s geographic expansion from five to thirty cities within 18 months. He also established and led a 50-member HR organization from the ground up.
Earlier, he worked as AVP – HR at CarDekho, leading HR business partnering responsibilities for the used car, financial services, and insurance verticals. He also held leadership positions at PwC India, where he contributed to large-scale organizational transformation and post-merger culture integration engagements.
Aravind additionally spent nearly six years with PepsiCo, where he led leadership development, talent acquisition, and capability-building initiatives across the organization. His earlier career included roles with Marico Ltd., ITC Limited, and IBM, helping him build broad expertise across HR transformation, leadership development, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
