Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, September 2025 – Tessa Peetoom has been elevated to Group Director People Development, Performance & Culture at Ayvens. In this global leadership role, she will oversee people performance, talent management, recruitment, learning & development, communications, engagement, culture, and diversity, equity & inclusion, while also serving as Regional HR Director for Eastern Europe, Emirates, and the UK.
Tessa has been with Ayvens (formerly LeasePlan and ALD Automotive) for eight years. Most recently, she served as Global Director DE&I and Culture, where she created and embedded a global inclusion strategy, inspired leadership to embrace courageous conversations, and championed under-represented groups across the organisation. She also acted as Global Project Manager HR, where she led people-focused projects, supporting cultural transformation and empowering employees to thrive and perform globally.
Earlier, she served at LeasePlan Corporation N.V. as Manager HR including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, where she drove people projects supporting the company’s DE&I agenda. Prior to that, she was with PwC Nederland for over six years, rising from Manager to Senior Manager, People and Organisation, guiding organisations through large-scale transformations, restructurings, and mergers, and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement during change journeys.
Tessa began her career in communications, serving as Coordinator Communicatie at Parteon, where she was also chair of the works council during a major reorganisation, and as Communicatieadviseur at Poelenburg, where she acted as spokesperson for multiple organisations. She also held roles in communications and operations at ISS Facility Services, ING Nederland, and KLM Cityhopper, where she gained early experience in employee engagement, project management, and operational leadership.
