India, August 2026 — McCormick & Company has appointed Atul Malik as Commercial Head – Flavour Solutions FMCG, India. In his new role, Atul will bring his extensive commercial and flavour-industry experience to McCormick’s FMCG business in India, supporting customer partnerships, business development, commercial strategy, and growth across flavour solutions.
Atul brings more than 25 years of experience across the flavours, food ingredients, FMCG, key account management, business development, commercial strategy, and customer relationship management domains. His career has been closely associated with the global flavours and ingredients industry, where he has worked with multinational and regional customers across India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and other international markets.
Prior to joining McCormick, Atul spent over 15 years with Givaudan, progressing through multiple commercial leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Regional Account Manager – SAMEA, managing major global CPG accounts and working with key account teams across multiple countries. His responsibilities included strategic account development, market expansion, long-range planning, customer partnerships, innovation-led growth, business continuity initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. Earlier at Givaudan, he served as Regional Account Manager – APAC & SAMEA, Regional Account Manager – APAC Flavours, Senior Key Account Manager, and Key Account Manager.
Before Givaudan, Atul worked with IFF as Account Manager – Flavours, focusing on key account management, new business development, product development, and expansion into segments including QSR and local snacks. His earlier career included roles at Firmenich as Key Account Manager, Danisco as Area Sales Manager, and an earlier stint with IFF as Business Development Executive. He began building his food and flavour industry expertise through roles at Thirumalai as an Executive – Food Technologist and Symrise as an Executive – Project Management, gaining exposure to technical selling, food ingredients, product trials, sensory processes, and commercial project management.
Across his career, Atul has developed deep expertise in strategic account management, commercial leadership, market development, flavour solutions, customer innovation, sales strategy, new product development, distribution, and cross-functional business execution. His experience in developing new markets and managing complex global customer relationships positions him to contribute to McCormick’s continued growth in India’s FMCG and flavour solutions market.
