Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Pooja Sood Dutta as Senior Vice President & Head – Program, Corporate Employee Solutions. In this role, she will be responsible for driving strategy for the Corporate Salary Ecosystem, spearheading growth in CASA and cross-sell while facilitating processes, product, compliance, and communication for both new and existing salaried customers.
Pooja brings over 18 years of experience across leading financial institutions. Prior to joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, she spent close to 12 years at ICICI Bank, where she rose through multiple leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Product Manager – ERV, Salaried Segment, driving business growth, customer engagement, and cross-sell across geographies. Earlier, she played a pivotal role as Product Manager – Key Account Management Team, where she facilitated the structuring and execution of the KAM channel across India, enabling synergy across wholesale banking, HR, and international business groups. Her tenure at ICICI Bank also included responsibilities as Process Manager – Institutional Banking (TASC & GBG), where she streamlined documentation, enhanced compliance efficiency, and delivered training initiatives for pan-India sourcing teams.
Before ICICI Bank, Pooja was part of Religare Finvest Limited (SME Loans), serving as Associate Vice President, PMO and Quality. She was the company’s Quality SPOC, driving process improvements, project management, automation, and change management. In her earlier years at Religare, she worked as Senior Manager (Business Analyst) – IT, where she successfully implemented an Insurance Broking System and spearheaded multiple MIS and automation initiatives.
Pooja also contributed significantly at ICICI Lombard, where as Area Manager – Operations, she led servicing for retail and corporate branches, managed large-scale teams, and drove improvements across underwriting, claims, and customer servicing processes. She began her career as an MBA Trainee with CitiFinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd, where she worked on profitability analysis across branches and suggested corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
On the academic front, Pooja holds a PGDBM (MBA) in Finance & Marketing from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune, where she was a Bronze Medalist in her batch. She also actively participated in business simulation exercises and authored research papers during her studies.
