SAN FRANCISCO, California, United States, September 2025 — Monica Lucero has taken on a new role as Chief Financial Officer at Event Horizon Capital, a firm focused on high-growth investments across AI, tech, and fintech infrastructure. With a multifaceted career in finance, operations, and investment management, Monica brings a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of capital markets to her new role.
Prior to joining Event Horizon Capital, Monica was with Intangible Assets Group, where she supported complex structured finance transactions and contributed to private investment strategies focused on maximizing after-tax returns for shareholders of C corporations. She also worked with PCG Equity, where she was actively involved in managing estate and finance operations in a family office setup.
Her earlier role at Crown Global Management involved overseeing financial and operational workflows for the organization. During this time, Monica contributed to process improvement and business oversight functions.
Before that, Monica was associated with Opportunity Assets Group, where she provided leadership on both finance and operations. Her work helped structure teams and streamline financial systems for impact-driven enterprises.
Earlier in her career, Monica held varied roles across organizations such as Zesty Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., and in entrepreneurial ventures including coaching women entrepreneurs. Her breadth of experience spans corporate finance, risk analysis, consulting, and people management across sectors.
