Birmingham, Alabama, United States, September 2025 — Air Engineers, LLC has announced the appointment of Ashley Self as Director of Human Resources. In his new role, Ashley will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent development, employee engagement, and organizational growth in line with Air Engineers’ mission to exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
Ashley brings over two decades of experience in human resources, leadership development, and organizational strategy. Most recently, he has been working as a Consultant with Six20 Partners, supporting organizations in leadership development, team building, and culture enhancement.
Prior to this, Ashley served at Mayer, where he was Human Resources Director and Director of Learning & People Development. During his five years at Mayer, he built impactful HR and learning programs that supported business transformation and employee growth.
Earlier, Ashley spent more than 17 years at Thompson Tractor Company, where he advanced from Account Manager to Sales Manager, and eventually to Corporate Training Director. In this role, he oversaw company-wide training initiatives for over 1,500 employees, driving skills development and organizational excellence.
His diverse career reflects a strong track record of aligning HR leadership with business outcomes, making him well positioned to drive people strategy at Air Engineers, LLC.
