Lisbon, Portugal, September 2025 — Luis Resende has been appointed as Director, Global People Systems & Operations at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics. In his new role, he will be responsible for advancing global HR systems and operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving people-focused digital transformation to support DSV’s scale and growth across 90+ countries.
Luis has been with DSV for over four years. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager, Global HRIS, where he led the optimization of HR technology platforms and supported integration projects across regions. Before that, he was Manager, Global HRIS, playing a key role in strengthening global HR operations and ensuring system alignment across the business.
Earlier, Luis worked at STRATESYS as a Manager, where he oversaw HR technology and business consulting assignments. He also spent two years with Capgemini as a Senior SAP HCM Consultant, leading major SAP HR implementations. His longest tenure was at Sacyr Somague, where he worked for nearly a decade as Lead Consultant. In that role, he managed SAP HR implementations across multiple countries including the UK, Qatar, Colombia, Mozambique, and Brazil, building deep expertise in large-scale payroll and workforce solutions.
He began his consulting career at Accenture, where he spent more than three years as a Consultant, leading HR business process design and SAP HR implementations across five countries, along with projects in healthcare and infrastructure sectors.
Luis holds an Advanced Program in Project Management and Evaluation from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, further strengthening his ability to lead complex HR systems and global transformation initiatives.
