Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, September 2025 – Rahul Singh has taken over as Regional Human Resources Director – Southwest Asia and Indian Ocean at Six Senses. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving strategic talent development, people experience, and operational excellence across properties in the region. A passionate HR leader, Singh is committed to aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and championing innovation in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
Singh has been with Six Senses for over two years, most recently serving as Human Resources Director at Six Senses Vana, where he led Conde Nast Asia’s award-winning HR team. His work focused on building a high-performing people function that drove operational success, talent development, and recognition for excellence in hospitality.
Before joining Six Senses, Singh contributed to higher education leadership at GITAM Deemed University, where he directed student life initiatives impacting over 28,000 students and later served as a Human Resources Practitioner, overseeing modern HR operations across three campuses with 3,500+ employees. He implemented policy modernization, talent acquisition strategies, and DEI-focused initiatives, strengthening employer branding and organizational capability.
Earlier in his career, Singh gained international exposure as Cluster HR Manager at MGM Muthu Hotels in the UK, overseeing HR operations across 12 hotels while also serving as Europe Data Protection Officer. He also held senior HR leadership roles with Hyatt Regency Chandigarh and Marriott International Jaipur, where he championed diversity, talent mobility, and engagement, earning corporate recognition for driving associate satisfaction above 95% and building award-winning teams.
Singh began his HR journey with Courtyard by Marriott Agra, JW Marriott, The St. Regis Goa Resort, and The Leela Goa, where he played pivotal roles in talent acquisition, training, and operational HR. He also served as a Training Executive and Management Trainee at Hyatt Regency Delhi and started his career as Assistant Manager – Housekeeping at Taj Hotels, giving him a strong foundation in operations and people management.
A certified professional, Singh holds a Certification in Labor Law Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Certificate in Driving Engagement for HR from Cornell University, further strengthening his expertise in labor law, engagement, and strategic HR leadership.
