Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – BSPIN (Bangalore Software Process Improvement Network) has announced the appointment of Manish Kumar as its new President. With nearly a decade of dedicated involvement in BSPIN’s leadership council, Manish takes on this key position to further strengthen the organization’s mission of driving excellence in software process improvement, productivity, and innovation across India’s IT landscape.
Manish Kumar has been closely associated with BSPIN for over nine years, serving as General Secretary & Executive Council Member prior to his current role as President. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding BSPIN’s collaborations, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and industry engagement programs aimed at elevating software quality standards.
Beyond BSPIN, Manish has been a Principal Auditor – Corporate Audits, Assessments and Certification Group at Infosys for over 14 years, where he has been instrumental in driving audit excellence, process governance, and compliance across global operations. His extensive experience in analytics and quality systems has positioned him as a thought leader in the IT audit and software quality domain.
Earlier, he served as Manager – Quality at Wipro Infotech Ltd, where he contributed to IT process improvement and business excellence frameworks. Before that, he held key roles such as Quality Assurance Lead at Tecnotree Convergence Ltd and Senior Quality Analyst at Cegedim Software India Pvt. Ltd, enhancing organizational process maturity and client satisfaction through structured quality interventions.
Manish’s career began as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), where he worked on the Indianization of imported testing systems for Jaguar, MiG, and Sukhoi aircrafts—a foundational experience that cemented his deep technical and process-oriented approach.
In addition to his professional commitments, Manish has actively contributed to several national bodies. He serves as a Panel Member (ISO/IEC/JTC) with the Bureau of Indian Standards, a Steering Committee Member at the India Quality Association, and a SIG Member of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI). He is also part of the Executive Committee of the National Bar Association of India, contributing to IP policy and legislative work.
