Prof. (Dr.) Sanjit Kumar Dash Appointed as Deputy Registrar at Sri Balaji University, Pune

Pune, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 – Prof. (Dr.) Sanjit Kumar Dash has taken on a new role as Deputy Registrar at Sri Balaji University, Pune, marking another milestone in his distinguished academic career. With over two decades of experience in academia and academic administration, Dr. Dash brings deep expertise in marketing, higher education management, and institutional leadership to his new position.

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjit Kumar Dash has been associated with Sri Balaji University, Pune for over six years, where he has served as Director and Professor (Marketing) at Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management (BITM). In this capacity, he has been instrumental in driving academic excellence and developing marketing curricula that bridge industry and academia. His commitment to academic leadership has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s reputation for quality management education.

Prior to this, he was Associate Professor (Marketing) at Woxsen University in Hyderabad, where he contributed to the development of the School of Business through curriculum innovation and student mentorship. Earlier, he also served as Deputy Director cum Associate Professor (Marketing) at Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management and Associate Professor (Marketing) at Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), both under the Sri Balaji Society umbrella, where he significantly contributed to academic administration and marketing education.

In an earlier phase of his career, Dr. Dash held academic positions at Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), ICFAI University, Magnus School of Business, and KIIT University, where he taught core marketing subjects and guided research projects. His strong foundation in pedagogy and research was built through his roles as Lecturer at IBCS, SOA University and BIMIT, Bhubaneswar.

Before transitioning to academia, he worked as a Product Development Executive at Monsanto Company, where he gained valuable industry experience in product management and consumer behavior, laying the groundwork for his later specialization in marketing education and research.

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjit Kumar Dash holds a Ph.D. in Marketing (Consumer Behaviour) and an MBA in Marketing Management from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
