New Delhi, India, October 2025 — Nirupam Srivastava has been appointed as the Co-Chair of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Committee on International M&A, bringing with him over two decades of expertise in mergers and acquisitions, artificial intelligence, and business strategy. Currently serving as President at Intelmon and holding board and advisory roles at refundme.in and a multinational company, Nirupam has consistently demonstrated leadership in AI adoption, strategic investments, and corporate innovation.
At Intelmon, Nirupam has been instrumental in formulating fund strategies for Gen-AI and DeepTech startups, strengthening venture investments in technology and manufacturing. He also contributes to public policy and industry innovation through his active role on the Analytics India Magazine (AIM) Leaders Council, where he collaborates with global AI and data science leaders.
Previously, as Vice President – Customer Experience, AI, Legal and Startups Strategy at Hero Enterprise, Nirupam spearheaded the creation of a Centre of Excellence for AI and DeepTech, introduced AI-driven customer experience solutions, and led award-winning initiatives that earned him recognition as an AI Leader, DX Leader, and CX Leader. His work extended to portfolio investments in companies such as Oyo and Nykaa, as well as collaborations with public policy bodies including the G20, GPAI, Niti Aayog, and CII.
Earlier in his career, he held strategic leadership roles at LexisNexis, IBM, Schneider Electric, Essel Propack, and Diageo, where he advanced global M&A initiatives, AI adoption, and digital transformation projects. He also gained early-career experience at Infosys and Nokia, where he built a foundation in technology, business development, and global project delivery.
With his appointment as Co-Chair of CII’s Committee on International M&A, Nirupam is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping India’s cross-border M&A strategies, fostering global partnerships, and advancing AI-driven business growth and sustainable value creation.
