Bengaluru, Karnataka India, October 2025 — Lakshmikanth R G (Lakki) has been appointed as the Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Algoworks, marking a significant addition to the company’s global leadership team. In this role, he will lead global finance operations, driving mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation initiatives, financial planning and analysis, reporting, and investor relations. His appointment reflects Algoworks’ commitment to strengthening financial leadership and accelerating its global expansion strategy.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Lakki brings a wealth of experience in finance, M&A, and strategic business management. Most recently, he served as Business Finance Leader at Bridgenext, where he played a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies, driving growth, and executing high-value mergers and acquisitions alongside digital transformation projects.
Before that, Lakki spent nearly a decade at emids, advancing from AVP Finance to VP Finance. During his tenure, he led multiple outbound and inbound transactions, including private equity investments and acquisitions across geographies. He was instrumental in post-merger integrations, implementing financial systems such as SAP Business One, and building transfer pricing models. His leadership was critical in designing innovative financial frameworks and managing global compliance across diverse regulatory environments.
Earlier in his career, he served as Finance Controller at Kivar Urban Infra and as Director Finance at Subex Ltd, where he focused on strategic planning, financial risk management, and revenue optimization. He also held finance leadership positions at Mphasis and WeP Peripherals Limited, gaining strong expertise in treasury, legal, and secretarial functions.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), Lakki is widely recognized for his ability to build scalable financial structures, optimize operations, and create shareholder value. His appointment at Algoworks positions him to play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth, financial transformation, and innovation journey on a global scale.
