With more than two decades of experience across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and consumer industries, Dr. Bansal is set to lead Greenpanel’s digital transformation roadmap, focusing on automation, IT governance, and business intelligence to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.
In his new role, Dr. Bansal will oversee the company’s overall technology strategy, strengthening its digital infrastructure and enabling business agility through innovation and integration. His appointment reflects Greenpanel’s ongoing commitment to evolving into a future-ready, intelligent enterprise through data-driven decision-making and scalable digital systems.
Before assuming this role, Dr. Bansal served as Group CIO at Surya Roshni, where he led the company’s comprehensive digital transformation initiatives, including Project Suryashakti and the SAP Go-Live implementation, which enhanced productivity and streamlined core operations. His strategic leadership in aligning IT with business goals was instrumental in driving digital maturity and operational agility across business units.
Previously, he was associated with Greenpanel Industries Limited as CIO, where he spearheaded the implementation of SAP HANA, Microsoft CRM, and advanced infrastructure modernization initiatives. His tenure with GREENPLY INDUSTRIES LIMITED as CIO further strengthened his credentials in digital transformation, where he managed large-scale SAP rollouts, corporate demerger transitions, and enterprise collaboration systems.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Bansal held leadership roles at MANKIND PHARMA LTD, where he successfully implemented SAP ERP and SFA systems for over 9,000 users, and played a key role in establishing robust data centers and disaster recovery frameworks. He began his professional journey with software and programming roles at Rizvi Softwares, MM Softech Solutions Pvt. Ltd, and Aasheesh Securities Ltd, developing a solid foundation in software design and system architecture.
A Doctorate holder in Computer Science with specialization in Ad-Hoc Network Routing Techniques, Dr. Bansal has received multiple industry recognitions for his contributions to IT governance, digital innovation, and AI-led transformation. His combination of academic insight and practical leadership makes him uniquely positioned to advance Greenpanel’s technology vision and business growth.
