Mumbai, India, October 2025 — Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) has announced the appointment of Sindhuu Govindarajan as Vice President – Marketing in its Foods Division. This marks a key addition to TCPL’s leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s fastest-growing FMCG majors.
Sindhuu joins Tata Consumer Products after an impactful tenure with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where she served as Brand Director for Surf Excel, South Asia. In this role, she led strategy, innovation, and brand equity for one of HUL’s most iconic and high-performing brands — driving sustained growth and purpose-led marketing across diverse consumer segments.
During her seven-year journey at Unilever, Sindhuu also held global marketing leadership roles, including Global Innovation Leader – Haircare and Global Marketing Manager – Hair Care, based in London and Mumbai respectively. She led the innovation roadmap and relaunch of Sunsilk across global markets such as Latin America, South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, shaping a unified global brand identity while tailoring innovation to regional insights.
Prior to Unilever, she worked at Reckitt as Senior Brand Manager – Dettol Innovations, managing innovation across multiple categories, and earlier as Brand Manager – Fabric Care (Vanish & Robin), where she drove portfolio growth through new launches and communication design. Sindhuu began her career with Procter & Gamble (P&G), holding key roles in trade marketing and account management for leading brands such as Head & Shoulders and Pantene.
Armed with over a decade of experience across global FMCG leaders — P&G, Reckitt, and HUL — Sindhuu brings deep expertise in consumer insight, brand purpose, and marketing innovation. Her appointment reflects TCPL’s focus on building agile, consumer-centric brands within the evolving foods and beverages ecosystem.
