Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 —Manoj Deorukhkar has taken on the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Shapoorji Pallonji Group, marking a strategic leadership transition as the Group accelerates its digital transformation agenda. With over three decades of experience in IT strategy, enterprise technology, digitalization, analytics, cybersecurity, and business process transformation, Manoj brings a powerful blend of strategic foresight and execution excellence to the iconic conglomerate. In his new role, he will lead the Group’s overarching technology vision, driving innovation, operational sustainability, and next-generation digital capabilities across its diverse business verticals.
Manoj’s journey within Shapoorji Pallonji Group is rooted in a strong legacy. During his earlier tenure as Senior Vice President (IT), he played a pivotal role in advancing enterprise transformation, particularly through SAP-led modernization programs and groupwide digital initiatives. His return to the Group reflects a renewed mandate to build on this foundation, enabling technology-driven governance, data-led decision-making, and scalable digital infrastructure to support the Group’s long-term growth.
Before rejoining the organization, Manoj served as Chief Information Officer at Sterling and Wilson, where he strengthened digital capabilities across global operations. He led major initiatives in cybersecurity, business continuity planning, information security, and digital process automation, ensuring enterprise readiness even during disruptive periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership enabled the company to enhance operational resilience, adopt modern digital tools, and streamline global IT frameworks.
Prior to Sterling and Wilson, Manoj gained deep consulting and delivery experience at Accenture and Capgemini, where he oversaw IT transformation programs for clients in utilities, mining, and large industrial sectors. His earlier role as Director at Bristlecone (Mahindra Consulting) helped shape his expertise in enterprise applications, SAP transformation, and global delivery models.
Manoj began his career at Tata Steel, spending over a decade across operations, sales, and MIS roles. His experience at Tata Steel built a strong foundation in technology-enabled process improvement, operations optimization, and cross-functional leadership—capabilities that continue to define his strategic approach today.
