Hyderabad, Telangana, India, April 2026 –Ripan Puri has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Biological E. Limited. This strategic appointment comes as the organization continues to strengthen its domestic business and expand its leadership footprint in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Ripan Puri brings deep expertise in business leadership, transformation, and building high-performing teams, positioning him to drive the next phase of growth and operational excellence for BE Life Sciences.
Prior to joining BE Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Ripan Puri served as Business Director – Pharmaceuticals at Himalaya Wellness Company, where he led the pharmaceutical business end-to-end with full P&L responsibility. He was a member of the Global Leadership Team and played a key role in scaling a business with significant market presence and a large workforce across India.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he served as Director – Diabetes Business and Public Market, leading critical business units with complete ownership of strategy, operations, and performance. His tenure included managing large teams and driving growth in highly competitive therapeutic segments.
He also served as Commercial Director – Chronic Cluster at Abbott, where he led cardiology and diabetes businesses, overseeing multiple divisions and driving large-scale commercial operations. Prior to this, he was Vertical Head – Super Speciality at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, managing oncology, urology, and nephrology portfolios with full P&L accountability.
His earlier leadership journey includes key roles at Novartis, where he led major business units in cardiovascular and respiratory segments, and at MSD Pharmaceuticals, where he headed the chronic care business. He began his career with Sanofi and Baxter India, building strong foundations in pharmaceutical marketing and business strategy.
