Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Priya Manoj Kandoth has begun a new chapter as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at JK Maini Precision Technology Ltd., Raymond Group Company, where she will anchor the organization’s people strategy, leadership excellence, and cultural transformation agenda. With her extensive cross-sector experience in global HR, learning, talent, and organizational development, she steps into a pivotal role aligned with the company’s growth ambitions across manufacturing and engineering.
In her most recent experience, Priya served as Managing Partner & HR Strategy Consultant at Urjja for nearly sixteen years, where she spearheaded large-scale consulting engagements for more than fifty organizations across manufacturing, automotive, PSUs, retail, real estate, consumer businesses, and global enterprises. She led teams of varying scale, designed leadership journeys, guided cultural transformation, executed capability-building programs, and delivered consulting projects across India and international markets. Her work at Urjja solidified her reputation as a deeply strategic and people-first HR leader, known for outcome-driven implementation and thought leadership through HR forums and industry platforms.
Before her entrepreneurial journey, Priya spent over five years at Bridgestone India as Head – People & Culture, where she shaped contemporary leadership development, learning, and culture practices across India and contributed to global people initiatives in EMIA and BSAM. She played a central role in embedding future-ready people systems, building performance-aligned cultures, and leading mentoring programs in partnership with global HR teams.
Earlier, Priya contributed to the renewable energy sector as Consulting Vice President – Human Resources at Duron Energy, supporting the company’s India entry and establishing startup-ready HR processes. She also worked with Ingersoll Rand for more than two years as Director – Corporate Human Resources | Talent & OD, pioneering leadership and talent management frameworks across five business entities, setting benchmarks globally. Her foundational experience includes impactful tenures at Aditya Birla Nuvo – Madura Garments and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where she led retail HR processes, large learning teams, and leadership development capabilities.
Priya began her career with formative roles at American President Lines and HCL Hewlett Packard, where she strengthened her expertise in sales, account management, client relationships, and market understanding — capabilities that later enhanced her ability to align HR with real business outcomes. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, which has consistently supported her leadership across corporate and consulting ecosystems.
