Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, November 2025 — Kammal Tripathi has been appointed as President HR and Chief of Staff to the CMD at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, taking on a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy, business alignment, and enterprise-wide transformation. In this role, he focuses on HR digitization, CDMO/CMO business expansion in emerging markets, business workflow optimisation, sales force effectiveness, and enabling sustainable growth across the organisation, ensuring seamless alignment with the Chairman’s strategic vision.
Before stepping into this leadership position, Kammal Tripathi served for seven years as CEO and President at Avery Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., where he successfully established India’s first EU-GMP-compliant and WHO-GMP-approved Mouth Dissolving Strip manufacturing plant. Under his leadership, the organisation built over 50 product developments across pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, natural extracts, and food-grade films, while driving embedded water-soluble film technology innovations and steering end-to-end R&D, production, global market expansion, financial planning, QA, and multi-functional operations.
Prior to this, he spent more than thirteen years at a leading management consulting and technology organisation, serving as Managing Director and CEO. During this period, he led strategic business consulting for Fortune 500 companies across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and bulk drugs. He played a crucial role in designing industry-specific AI, ML, chatbots, key performance indicator frameworks, and balanced scorecards, strengthening decision-making systems and driving technology-enabled business growth.
Earlier, Kammal also served as President & CEO at Sri Hari Corporation NJ, and held leadership responsibilities as Chief Business Strategist, providing strategy and management services across industries. His roles spanned business transformation, organisational development, P&L leadership, and cross-functional operations, establishing him as a trusted advisor for growth and performance improvement.
His extensive leadership foundation includes senior roles across Applitech Solution Ltd, Dishman Group, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, and an early nine-year tenure at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited as Sr. Manager – Corporate HR and General Management, where he built strong capabilities in HR transformation, organisation design, performance improvement, culture change, and pharmaceutical manufacturing excellence.
