Australia, June 2025 – Nancy Martin has been appointed as Head of People Partnering at Fantastic Furniture, taking on a pivotal leadership role to drive the organization’s people strategy and support its mission of creating a fantastic workplace and customer experience. In her new capacity, Nancy will spearhead people partnering efforts across the business, championing talent initiatives and cultural transformation for the organization’s 900+ strong team.
Nancy brings nearly eight years of progressive HR experience with Fantastic Furniture. Most recently, she served as People Business Partner, collaborating across disciplines to build a culture focused on learning, collaboration, and growth. Her tenure has been marked by an unwavering commitment to personal development, team capability, and fostering a culture of transformation. Prior to this, Nancy held the role of Senior Talent Manager, further building her expertise in talent acquisition and pipeline development.
Earlier in her career, Nancy was a Recruitment & Talent Specialist at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, where she managed the end-to-end internal recruitment function, introduced innovative sourcing solutions, and supported large-scale change management initiatives following an organizational amalgamation. Her experience also includes designing and delivering recruitment training, coaching for managers, and facilitating culture workshops.
Before her time with Chartered Accountants, Nancy worked as an HR Business Partner/Recruitment Officer at IOOF Holdings Ltd (Insignia Financial). She played a key role in talent acquisition and later supported change management activities within the business following a merger. Earlier, Nancy built a foundation in relationship management as an Account Manager at JKM, managing key accounts across diverse industries, and began her career as an Employment Consultant at Mission Australia, supporting job seekers in finding meaningful employment.
