Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Gunjan Paliwal has joined Oaklanecapital as the new Head of People and Culture, where she will be responsible for leading people strategy, talent management, and organizational culture for the investment management firm.
Before joining Oaklanecapital, Gunjan served as Co-Founder at Backflow Technology for over a year, where she focused on building a start-up from the ground up, leveraging her entrepreneurial skills to drive growth and innovation in a self-employed role.
Prior to that, she was a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at Lentra for approximately nine months, supporting hiring needs across North America and APAC and driving global talent acquisition strategies for the organization.
Earlier, Gunjan held the position of Director HR and Talent Acquisition at Signzy for more than two years, overseeing business operations and global hiring, and helping scale the team for a rapidly growing fintech.
Her career also includes roles as Talent Acquisition Manager at ZOOP.ONE, People Officer at Repos Energy India Pvt. Ltd., and HR Generalist at Sansui Electronics Pvt. Ltd., where she developed expertise across multiple HR domains in dynamic, growth-focused organizations.
Gunjan holds a Post Graduation Diploma in Management with a specialization in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR), Pune.
