London, England, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Shelley Macintyre has been promoted to Interim CEO, Brands & Licensing at BBC Studios. Before stepping into this role, Macintyre served as Senior Vice President, Marketing at BBC Studios for over a year, where she led brand strategy and global marketing initiatives supporting some of the organisation’s most recognisable franchises. Her commercial focus and experience in large-scale brand development positioned her strongly for this expanded mandate.

Alongside her role within BBC Studios, she has contributed meaningfully to industry advocacy and coaching. She is currently an Advisor to Male Allies UK, and previously served as Chair for Talent Sessions with WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership), where she led scaled mentoring and leadership programmes to support mid to senior women in their professional growth.

Prior to joining BBC Studios, she spent nearly three years as General Manager & Chief Marketing Officer at allplants, where she oversaw organisational growth and brand elevation in the sustainable food category.

Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Suntory Global Spirits, including Senior Global Director – Gin Brands, where she led major global portfolios including Sipsmith and Larios, and drove brand strategy, P&L performance, innovation, and global activation. This followed nearly four years as Global & UK Marketing Director at Sipsmith, where she helped scale the company and prepare it for strategic acquisition.

Before that, Macintyre spent over six years at The Coca-Cola Company, working across priority brand portfolios including Coke Zero, Sprite, Dr Pepper, and Schweppes, where she led high-impact campaigns and regional strategy. Her foundation in brand leadership began with more than six years at Unilever, where she held progressive marketing roles across global brands including Sunsilk, Comfort, and Axe.
