In her new role, she will lead the company’s global people agenda, organizational effectiveness, culture evolution and talent strategy as Palmetto scales its mission to make clean energy affordable, accessible, and intuitive for consumers worldwide.
Before joining Palmetto, Hilary Lerner spent seven years at Teamworks, serving most recently as Executive Vice President, People & Culture. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping a global talent strategy, strengthening organizational culture, advancing employee engagement, and implementing comprehensive people operations. She oversaw talent acquisition, people analytics, total rewards, and performance systems while enabling workforce productivity and business growth across international markets.
Prior to Teamworks, Hilary spent more than nine years at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in multiple leadership roles, serving most recently as Vice President, People Experience & Innovation. In this capacity, she championed global workplace culture, developed early career programs, led employee engagement practices, and implemented innovative communication and feedback strategies across the league. Earlier at NBA, she served as Vice President, Marketing, where she led marketing modernization for the WNBA and introduced the first-ever LGBT-focused marketing platform in professional sports.
Earlier in her career, Hilary held senior commercial roles in entertainment and music, including serving as Executive Vice President, Promotion at Virgin Music Group, where she led national exposure strategies, artist partnership platforms, and promotional campaigns for Grammy-winning talent. Her leadership also extended to Epic Records, where she spent nearly nine years supporting the global careers of leading artists including Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Shakira. Hilary began her journey in the music industry at EMI Music, where she served as Senior Director of Promotion.
