Auckland, New Zealand, November 2025 — Kathryn Greene has started her new role as Chief People & Operations Officer at Lunit Cancer Screening, bringing her extensive experience in global people leadership, organisational transformation, and reward strategy to the rapidly expanding medical AI organisation. In her new mandate, she leads people strategy, operational excellence, and organisational scaling efforts as Lunit advances its mission of conquering cancer through AI-driven diagnostics.
Before joining Lunit Cancer Screening, Kathryn served for nearly six years at Volpara Health, where she rose to the position of Chief People Officer. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s culture, enhancing people processes, and supporting global scaling across multiple regions, contributing significantly to Volpara’s people-first approach and industry positioning.
Prior to Volpara, Kathryn held senior leadership roles at Orion Health, serving as Vice President, People and earlier as Global People Operations Director, where she led people operations across a global health-tech environment. She also contributed to the New Zealand HR fraternity through meaningful involvement at The New Zealand Remuneration Network (RemNet), serving as Chairperson, Committee Member, and Treasurer, shaping the country’s compensation and rewards best practices.
Earlier in her career, Kathryn built a strong foundation at Fonterra, Fonterra Brands (Tip Top) Ltd, and Metlifecare, where she gained extensive experience in human resources, rewards management, and people advisory roles across various business environments. This multi-industry background equips her with deep strategic and operational expertise as she steps into her new leadership role at Lunit Cancer Screening.
