Delhi, India, September 2024 – Rajnish Gupta has been appointed as the Managing Director for India and SAARC at Tenable, a leading cybersecurity firm. In his new role, Rajnish will spearhead strategic initiatives, oversee operations, and drive business growth across the region. His appointment aligns with Tenable’s strategic expansion of its cloud capabilities and exposure management platform, further reinforcing its leadership in cybersecurity.
Rajnish Gupta brings over 30 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. Before joining Tenable, he served as the Country Director – Cortex at Palo Alto Networks, where he led the India division and contributed to the growth of Cortex’s cybersecurity solutions. His leadership ensured the successful delivery of advanced security services across the region.
Prior to his role at Palo Alto Networks, Rajnish held a senior leadership position at Microsoft as the Cybersecurity Leader, where he was responsible for driving Microsoft’s cybersecurity initiatives in India. During his tenure, he played a key role in delivering innovative security solutions for various sectors, contributing to the strengthening of Microsoft’s presence in the cybersecurity domain.
Rajnish also spent nearly 10 years at RSA Security, where he held multiple senior roles. As the Sr. Director – Asia Pacific, he led security initiatives across ASEAN, Greater China, India, and SAARC. His expertise in managing large teams and complex cybersecurity projects helped RSA secure key markets and expand its footprint in the region.
Earlier in his career, Rajnish held senior roles at Symantec and MindTree, where he was instrumental in managing large cybersecurity operations and developing key strategic partnerships. His early career also includes significant experience with Wipro, where he spent over 11 years in various capacities, culminating as the Regional Business Manager for the Enterprise Platform division, showcasing his deep expertise in managing large-scale IT and security infrastructure.
