In this regional leadership position, she will lead the human resources strategy and people agenda for the Orlando Health Alabama Region, supporting Baptist Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, accessible, community-focused care as part of the wider Orlando Health system.

Immediately prior to joining Baptist Health, Qiana Williams served for nearly two years as EVP & Chief People Officer at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. As the top HR executive for a $5.5 billion academic health system, she led enterprise-wide HR, talent management and culture transformation, aligned workforce strategy with OHSU’s mission and long-term vision, redesigned the HR Business Partner model, drove a system-wide compensation strategic review, optimized the HR Service Center and introduced the institution’s first HR scorecard to support data-driven workforce decisions for more than 20,000 employees and 4,500 students.

Before OHSU, Qiana spent almost eight years with OhioHealth in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area in several senior roles, most recently as Vice President, Total Rewards & HR Operations. She led a $31 million total rewards and HR operations portfolio for more than 35,000 associates, ensuring compensation, benefits and rewards remained competitive and aligned with business goals, and modernised HR operations through technology and analytics.

Earlier at OhioHealth, she served as Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer / Vice President, Culture, Engagement & Inclusion, Senior Advisor, Office of the CHRO and Director, Human Resources Business Partner – Grant Medical Center & Corporate Functions, leading strategies for engagement, DEI, culture and HR support for approximately 7,000 associates across key corporate and clinical functions.

Prior to her healthcare system leadership roles, Qiana Williams spent close to one year as Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio, where she led enterprise talent acquisition in a large regional financial services organization. She was responsible for attracting and hiring talent to support growth, strengthening the bank’s employer brand and aligning recruitment with long-term workforce needs during a period of ongoing change.

Across earlier stages of her career, Qiana built a strong foundation in HR, diversity and community leadership through roles at L Brands (including Senior Manager, Human Resources, Manager, Global Diversity & Inclusion, and HR generalist roles at Mast Industries and Limited Logistics Services) in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, as well as Founding Executive Director of the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County, Director, LEAD Center at the Columbus Urban League, and Human Resources Consultant at Gannett Newspapers – Cincinnati Enquirer. These roles deepened her expertise in workforce inclusion, community equity, leadership development and end-to-end HR support across nonprofit, corporate, media and community organizations.
