Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, United States, December 2025 — John Litton has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President of Human Resources, Strategic Business Services at Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas. With a career spanning over two decades in global HR leadership across healthcare, energy, and industrial sectors, John brings deep expertise in talent strategy, operational transformation, and workforce alignment.
Prior to this appointment, John served as Vice President of Human Resources, Global Equipment Operations at Wabtec Corporation, where he led HR strategy for a global workforce of 4,000 employees across freight locomotive and mining equipment operations. His leadership helped drive people transformation through business cycles, complex integrations, and international scale-up initiatives.
Before Wabtec, John held several key HR leadership roles within GE, including GE Aviation, GE Transportation, and GE Power, where he was responsible for HR in engineering, manufacturing, and digital systems divisions. His broad remit included workforce planning, leadership development, and change management for mission-critical, high-tech operations worldwide.
John began his HR journey in heavy industry with Elk Run Coal Company before joining GE, where he progressed through plant-level HR roles to global executive HR leadership. At Baylor Scott & White Health, he now steps into a vital role overseeing strategic HR partnerships that support operational excellence and workforce engagement across one of the most complex healthcare ecosystems in the country.
