Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Ashutosh Shah has started a new position as General Manager – Zonal BHR, HO and West at Polycab India Limited, marking a significant step forward in his HR leadership journey. In this role, he will lead Business HR responsibilities for Sales and Corporate Functions, supporting people strategy and organizational effectiveness across the Head Office and the Western region.
In his most recent role prior to joining Polycab India Limited, Ashutosh Shah spent nearly four years with Raychem RPG (P) Ltd., where he progressed through key HRBP leadership responsibilities. As Manager – Sales HR, he led HR business partnering for global and domestic sales teams and corporate functions. Earlier, as Deputy Manager – Plant HRBP, he supported the EBU and Oil & Gas divisions, managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, talent management, capability building, employee and industrial relations, compliance, plant administration, and digital HR initiatives.
Before Raychem RPG, Ashutosh Shah spent over eight years with Amul Dairy, where he built deep expertise in plant and business HR. Joining initially as a management trainee at a greenfield manufacturing project near Mumbai, he went on to serve as Senior Officer – HRBP, contributing across employee lifecycle management, talent management, compensation and rewards, HR operations, industrial relations, grievance handling, performance management, HR surveys, benchmarking, and administration for large-scale operations supporting Mumbai’s packaged milk supply.
Earlier in his career, Ashutosh Shah gained foundational experience in talent acquisition and HR operations through roles at Shree Rang Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. as an Executive Recruiter, and a brief campus assignment with Torrent Power as an Executive Trainee, strengthening his understanding of recruitment, stakeholder coordination, and early-career HR processes.
Ashutosh Shah holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management (MHRM) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, completed between 2010 and 2012, providing a strong academic foundation for his HR leadership career.
