Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Manish Bhandari has taken on a new role as Chief Compliance Officer at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, further strengthening the company’s governance and regulatory oversight framework at a time of heightened compliance expectations across the financial services sector.
In his new role, Manish Bhandari will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide compliance, regulatory engagement, and risk governance, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks while supporting ICICI Prudential Life’s long-term growth and customer trust objectives.
Prior to this appointment, Manish Bhandari spent more than two decades with ICICI Bank, where he most recently served as Head – Retail Compliance. In this role, he led compliance strategy across retail banking operations, strengthening regulatory alignment and risk controls across a large and complex branch network.
Before this, he held the role of Principal Officer – AML, CFT, Sanctions & KYC, where he was responsible for critical regulatory functions including anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, and customer due diligence, playing a central role in reinforcing governance standards within the bank.
Earlier at ICICI Bank, Manish Bhandari also led SEBI Compliance and served as Head – Risk and Compliance for Branch Banking, where he focused on strengthening internal controls, regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and operational risk management across geographies.
In the early phase of his career, he built strong foundational experience in banking operations and relationship management through roles at Industrial Development Bank of India and HDFC Bank, gaining exposure to retail banking, customer operations, and service excellence.
