Budni, Madhya Pradesh, India, December 2025 — Naveen Kumar Rai has joined Pratibha Syntex Ltd. as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, bringing with him over a decade of deep HR leadership experience within the textile and manufacturing sector.

In his new role, Naveen Kumar Rai will focus on strengthening Learning & Development, employee engagement, workforce optimization, and operational excellence, while nurturing a strong, performance-driven culture aligned with Pratibha Syntex’s sustainability-led growth agenda.

Immediately prior to joining Pratibha Syntex, Naveen Kumar Rai spent more than 11 years with Trident Group India, where he held multiple progressive leadership roles across HR, administration, and employee relations. Most recently, he served as Functional Head – Employee Relations, leading complex ER, welfare, and administration responsibilities for a workforce exceeding 9,000 employees at the Budni facility.

During his tenure at Trident, he also held the role of Functional Head HR & Dean (Takshashila), where he played a pivotal role in driving Learning & Development, onboarding, capability building, and leadership development initiatives. His responsibilities further included Functional Lead – MD Office, Functional Lead – Administration, General Manager – Skill Development, and Manager – Onboarding & Training, reflecting a broad-based HR leadership journey spanning employee lifecycle management, skill development, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Earlier in his career, Naveen Kumar Rai began his professional journey as a Project Engineer, followed by a role as Power Engineer at Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd, where he worked on large-scale O&M projects for supercritical power units. This strong engineering foundation has significantly shaped his analytical, process-driven approach to HR and people operations.

An engineer by training, Naveen Kumar Rai has further strengthened his leadership capabilities through Executive Leadership Development from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali. His academic and professional journey reflects a rare blend of technical acumen, people leadership, and strategic HR operations.

Known for his hands-on, people-centric leadership style, Naveen Kumar Rai brings extensive experience in employee relations, L&D strategy, administration & welfare, disciplinary and grievance management, and large-scale workforce engagement. At Pratibha Syntex, he aims to build high-impact people systems that support productivity, engagement, and sustainable organizational growth.
