Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, December 2025 – Huda Albasaitah has taken on a new leadership role as Cluster Director of Human Resources at InterContinental Abu Dhabi. In this role, she is responsible for leading people strategy, workforce planning, talent development, compliance, and organisational effectiveness across cluster hospitality operations, strengthening employee experience and service excellence standards.
In her current role at InterContinental Abu Dhabi, Huda is leading HR strategy, workforce planning, compliance, payroll governance, learning & development, and organisational capability frameworks across cluster hospitality operations.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, where she led HR strategy, workforce planning, pre-opening programs, change management, and compliance frameworks across a large luxury hospitality operation.
Earlier, she was Assistant Director of Human Resources at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, strengthening talent management, learning, and HR operations.
Huda spent over five years with St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, where she progressed through Human Resources Manager and Assistant Director of Human Resources, leading HR strategy, hiring, workforce planning, and culture transformation across luxury hospitality environments in Jordan.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at MS Pharma and built her hospitality HR foundation through multiple roles at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, progressing from Human Resources Officer and Coordinator to Assistant Learning & Development Manager.
