Greenply Industries appoints Nagendra Acharya as Group CHRO

Gurgaon,Haryana, India, January 2026 — Greenply Industries Limited has elevated Nagendra Acharya to the role of Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to scale its people and culture agenda across businesses.

In his expanded role as Group CHRO, Nagendra Acharya will lead Greenply’s overall people strategy, spanning talent management, leadership development, organisation design, employee relations, and administrative functions. His mandate includes strengthening organisational capability, nurturing leadership pipelines, and aligning human capital strategy with Greenply’s long-term growth ambitions.

Nagendra has been associated with Greenply Industries Limited since October 2013 and most recently served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources & Administration. Over more than a decade with the organisation, he has played a pivotal role in building robust HR frameworks, strengthening governance, and supporting the company’s evolution into one of India’s leading interior infrastructure players.

Prior to joining Greenply, he spent over three years at Tech Mahindra, where he worked in Talent Management & Employee Relations, supporting large, globally distributed teams and driving structured learning, capability building, and employee engagement initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Nagendra Acharya held talent and learning-focused roles at IBM as a Talent Management Specialist, and at EXL Service, where he worked in employee development and counselling roles, building a strong foundation in people development and organisational effectiveness.

He holds a PGCHRM in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and has also completed an Executive Programme in Developing Internal Talent and Leadership from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

With deep experience across manufacturing, technology, and services sectors, Nagendra Acharya’s elevation as Group CHRO marks a significant step in reinforcing Greenply’s focus on leadership, culture, and people-led growth.
