Los Angeles, California, United States, January 2026 — Mercury Insurance has appointed Jenny (Dickinson) Chan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), marking a significant leadership addition as the company continues to strengthen its people-first culture and commitment to innovation.
In her new role, Jenny (Dickinson) Chan will align talent and business strategy to support Mercury Insurance’s long-term growth, strengthen leadership capability, and foster a high-performance, purpose-driven culture. She will oversee the company’s human resources strategy across talent, leadership, engagement, and organisational effectiveness, playing a critical role in enabling business transformation and employee experience.
Prior to joining Mercury Insurance, Jenny served as Chief People Officer at Arctera.io, where she led the talent and leadership transformation of a Veritas company spin-out. Her work focused on accelerating innovation, enabling scalable growth, and strengthening organisational capability, culminating in a successful exit and acquisition.
Earlier, Jenny spent nearly three decades at Accenture, where she held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Global HR Transformation Change Management Lead / Managing Director, leading large-scale global HR transformation initiatives to support organisations through cost optimisation, technology-enabled change, and business reinvention.
She also served as Global Head of Health and Well-being / Managing Director, where she led the development and execution of a global well-being strategy impacting more than 740,000 stakeholders. During this period, she launched an award-winning programme that earned Gold for Best Benefits, Wellness, and Well-Being Program from the Brandon Hall Group.
Earlier in her Accenture career, Jenny held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer / Managing Director for Accenture’s West division, overseeing HR strategy for a $6 billion-plus business with over 12,000 employees. Her leadership spanned inclusion and belonging, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement across multiple industries.
