Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Ashika Group has announced the appointment of Rahul Arora as Chief Executive Officer – Institutional Equity, marking a significant step in strengthening the group’s institutional equities platform.
In his new role, Rahul Arora will be responsible for leading and scaling Ashika Group’s institutional equity business, with a focus on deepening client relationships, strengthening research and distribution capabilities, and driving long-term growth across domestic and global institutional investors.
Prior to joining Ashika Group, Rahul spent over 15 years at Nirmal Bang Institutional Equities, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in setting up the institutional equities business from the ground up, building end-to-end capabilities across research, sales, trading, risk, compliance, and operations, and establishing the firm among the leading institutional brokers in the country.
Earlier in his career, Rahul was associated with Bloomberg UTV as Markets Editor, where he led market programming and editorial content during market hours. He also held on-air and analytical roles at CNBC-TV18 as Senior Anchor & Analyst, becoming a familiar face in business news and market analysis.
He began his professional journey in finance with roles at UBS, PwC, and Citigroup, gaining early exposure to investment banking, corporate finance, and private wealth management.
With a unique blend of capital markets leadership, institutional brokerage experience, and financial media insight, Rahul Arora brings a well-rounded perspective to his new role at Ashika Group.
