New Delhi, Delhi, India, January 2026 — Nagender Dubey has been appointed as Director & Team Leader – Medium Enterprises at Standard Chartered India, strengthening the bank’s leadership focus on the medium enterprises segment. Based in New Delhi, Nagender will be responsible for driving business growth, leading high-performing teams, and deepening client relationships, in line with the bank’s strategy to expand its medium enterprise portfolio through structured financial solutions and a client-centric approach.
With over 17 years of experience across wholesale and commercial banking, Nagender brings strong expertise in business development, relationship management, portfolio management, and market banking services. In his current role at Standard Chartered India, he is focused on expanding the medium enterprises franchise, building scalable business models, and supporting sustainable growth through tailored banking solutions.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered India, Nagender served as Cluster Head & Senior Vice President – Wholesale Banking at YES BANK. In this role, he led large client portfolios, managed senior stakeholder relationships, and played a key role in driving business development and team performance across the cluster.
Before this, he was associated with HSBC as Vice President – Judgemental Lending within Commercial Banking. During this phase, he was involved in credit assessment, judgemental lending, and supporting commercial clients with structured banking and risk-managed solutions.
Earlier in his career, Nagender worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Senior Relationship Manager, where he was responsible for onboarding new-to-bank clients in the Delhi NCR region and enhancing product penetration through fund-based, non-fund-based, and hedging solutions.
He also spent a significant part of his early career at Aditya Birla Finance Limited, where he handled business development, planning, team management, and corporate relationships, building a strong foundation in client acquisition and long-term relationship management.
